Remember the sketch we shared recently?

 Well, the wait is over. The custom personalized family name sign for "The Green" family is finally finished, and I have to admit — this might be my favorite piece I have ever created. 😍

But getting here wasn’t easy.

Bringing this design to life took over two weeks of trial and error. We wanted to create not just a decor piece, but a perfect wedding gift that would last a lifetime. The biggest challenge? The burlap.

Gluing fabric to wood sounds simple, right? It's not. If you use too much glue, it turns hard. If you use too little, it peels. I wanted the burlap to feel natural and soft, keeping that cozy rustic vibe that makes it such a great anniversary gift (especially for the 5th "Wood" anniversary!).

After many late nights, I found the perfect technique. The result is a flawless, clean background where the texture shines.

Combined with the crisp 3D raised letters and that deep walnut frame, the contrast is stunning. Whether you are looking for a unique housewarming gift or a statement piece for your own entryway, this sign is built to impress.
