Sometimes, the best designs start with a messy sketch on a piece of scrap paper. ✏️

We’ve been brainstorming a new look for the "The Green" family sign for days. We wanted something rustic yet modern, something that feels warm but clean. We tried different fonts, different stains, but something was missing. It felt too... plain.

And then it hit us. Texture! 💡

We decided to experiment with premium burlap as a backing layer. The rough, natural texture of the fabric against the smooth, dark walnut wood created exactly the contrast we were looking for. It’s that perfect "Modern Farmhouse" vibe that looks incredible on a mantel or entryway table.

This is just the sketch (and a little sneak peek of the materials), but we are already in love with how this is coming together.
