This batch has it all: unity cross ceremony signs for Christian weddings, classic family name signs with established dates, and monogram designs. Each one handcrafted from Baltic Birch and made for a specific couple's special day.

What I love about days like this is seeing the variety. Every couple is different — different styles, different dates, different stories. Some want the unity cross for their ceremony. Others want a classic personalized wedding gift to hang in their first home together. All of them want something made just for them.

Each sign took hours of laser cutting, hand-sanding, staining, and finishing. This is why I can't do 50 signs a day — because every custom family name sign gets individual attention. No shortcuts.

Seven couples, seven unique pieces, all heading to their destinations today. Honored to be part of these wedding celebrations. 💍

Making Signs for God's Ceremony

Today I finished two unity cross ceremony signs for a Christian wedding, and I have to say — these are my favorite orders to make. 🙏

As a believer myself, there's something deeply meaningful about crafting pieces that will be part of someone's sacred covenant. These aren't just decorations. They're part of a ceremony where a couple publicly declares they're building their marriage on faith, with God at the center.

Each cross is handcrafted from Baltic Birch — the same premium wood I use for all my signs because it's strong, stable, and beautiful. The natural grain shows through perfectly.

The ceremony these are made for is based on Ecclesiastes — the verse about the threefold cord that is not easily broken. It's a beautiful reminder that a marriage with God at the center is stronger than just two people alone.

The rope details aren't just decorative either — the couple will use them during the ceremony, braiding three cords together to symbolize God, husband, and wife becoming one.

Packed with care and heading to their wedding. Honored and genuinely happy for this couple choosing to walk their path with God. ✝️

Monday's Batch

Five signs finished and ready to ship today. ✉️

Each one took hours of cutting, sanding, staining, and hand-finishing. This is why I can only make 6-7 signs per day max — every piece gets the attention it deserves.

No shortcuts. No assembly line. Just handcrafted quality, one sign at a time.

Experimenting with Wood and Concrete for Modern Interior Signs

I've been thinking about this for a while - what if I combined wood with microcement to create something different for custom business signs?

The idea came from looking at modern commercial interiors. Every contemporary restaurant, design studio, or boutique I see has this mix: warm wood paired with industrial concrete. It's everywhere right now.

So I thought: why not bring this aesthetic into interior signage?

These are my first real tests with this wood and concrete combination, but I'm already seeing potential. The texture contrast between smooth wood grain and raw concrete surface creates actual physical depth - not just a painted effect.

For personalized business signs in modern spaces, this could be a game-changer. Modern but still approachable.

Creativity on the Go: Designing for Sydney Salon BY ANILA. ✂️

While most of our designs are created digitally for precision, sometimes inspiration strikes when I’m away from the computer. This week, while waiting for my son at his soccer practice, I took a moment to sketch out a new project by hand.

I’m currently developing a personalized business sign for the talented ladies at Sydney Salon BY ANILA. Since I’m a regular there, I wanted to create something truly special that reflects the elegance of their team. It started with a simple pencil drawing on the sidelines of a soccer field and is now being fine-tuned into a multi-layered masterpiece.

Soon, we’ll bring this vision to life using our Monport laser and high-quality Baltic Birch. I can’t wait to see this installed in their salon!
